Installing USB drivers for Nexus 4 on Windows XP SP3
I'm trying to connect my Nexus 4 to my computer. I have updated to 4.3,
and the phone is in debugging mode. I've used the cable that came with the
phone, and the computer is running Windows SP 3.
I plugged in the device, it says Nexus 4 under Other Devices with a yellow
question mark, and an exclamation mark.
I've downloaded the drivers through SDK, and through a couple other sites.
I update the drivers, choose the location, and nothing happens.
When I try to set it to the specific INF, it says there's no drivers for
my device.
ADB doesn't list any devices, which is my ultimate goal.
There's a bunch of articles explaining how to do this but I'm familiar
with all the methods I've seen, none of them seem to work. I almost think
I need to alter the INF to include my device specifically, but I'm not
sure how to do that.
